SHIFTED | JYE BYRNES

Developed for people magazine FREUNDE VON FREUNDEN our series SHIFTED  follows shaper and Pro Longboard tour surfer Jye Byrnes on his path to a new life building some of the finest boards on the Australian East coast. Based for two generations in iconic beach-town Newcastle, Jye´s family was already running a successful manufacture since the early 80s before Jye, also called 'Fly', finally decided to develop his own brand and early before his decision to shift focus from his pro career to follow his father's footsteps and to continue their perfection driven oeuvre.
